About Mouf

I've loved food all of my life - growing up in New Orleans, loving food is all but required - and from a young age I started learning how to cook from one of the best culinary minds I know: my mom. She instilled in me a passion for flavor and an understanding of how food works, and inspired me to pursue it professionally.

 I spent nearly 17 years of my life in the restaurant industry and for years I have made seasoning blends for my personal use, and after some encouragement from friends and family, I've decided to share these seasoning blends with all of you.

 Although tailored specifically for certain meats, mouf seasonings are incredibly versatile, both in pairing and preparation. For instance, the Fowl mouf blend is great on pork chops, and and all three blends are fantastic on vegetables: seriously, add some to your cabbage or greens and even the most veggie-loathing diners will have to admit it’s pretty great.

 There’s no limit to what your food can do with a lil’ mouf: grill with it, braise with it, sautee with it, bake with it… but most of all, have fun with it!

 Cheesy as it sounds, there’s little that’s as easily-attainable and more satisfying than cooking a meal that everyone enjoys, so experiment, share, and happy cooking!
